Time of Use 2-9

Time of Use Rate Program (TOU 2-9) is a program that is designed to reward residential customers who are willing to reduce their energy consumption during the peak cost periods. A peak cost period for Electrical District No. 3 is between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This rate is available to residential customers and requires the installation of a special Time of Use (TOU) meter at no cost to the customer. If you choose to go on the TOU 2-9 Rate, you must stay on this rate for twelve (12) months.
